Execution of a Pakistan in Saudi Arabia: Statement given by the Spokesperson of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs

“France condemns the execution yesterday in Saudi Arabia of a Pakistani citizen accused of drug trafficking.

As recently recalled the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Laurent Fabius, launching the French campaign in favour of death penalty’s universal abolition, France reaffirms its determined and continuous opposition to death penalty in all places and any circumstances. France urges Saudi Arabia to put an end to executions and to declare a moratorium.”
