France must always take initiatives. This is also what justified its organizing the Climate Conference. Here, the issue is no longer about peace; it’s about the planet’s very future. Here too, time is short. The conference is at the end of the year. States’ contributions must be known before the summer. We are duty-bound to succeed. France will set the example. Moreover, it has demonstrated this by presenting a road map which takes into account the conclusions of the environment conference and the energy transition bill. (…)./.
