Norway – Climate – Meeting between Laurent Fabius and his counterpart, Borge Brende (Paris, June 3, 2015) [fr]

Laurent Fabius, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development, will receive on June 3 his Norwegian counterpart, Borge Brende.

Mr. Fabius and Mr. Brende will discuss the international negotiations ahead of the Paris Climate Conference – COP21. Norway, which is deeply committed to the fight against climate disruption, is an important partner in preparing for this conference. The two ministers jointly opened the conference on the Arctic and climate in Paris on March 17 in order to highlight the urgent need to take action to limit global warming to less than 2°C or 1.5 °C.

They will also discuss key international issues, including the situation in Ukraine and the crises in the Middle East, as well as the economic situation in Europe and the migration issues.

They will also work on strengthening our bilateral relations, notably in the economic sphere.
